Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Four-Slide / Multi-Slide Setup Technician to join our production team. This role requires extensive experience setting up and operating specialized four-slide and multi-slide forming equipment to produce precision stamped components. The ideal candidate will focus on maximizing uptime, maintaining tight quality tolerances, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation: Independently set up, troubleshoot, and operate four-slide and multi-slide machinery using technical blueprints and job documentation.

• Precision Tooling: Install and adjust dies, cams, and forming tools using precision hand tools and standard tool room equipment.

• Quality Control: Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and SPC methods to ensure dimensional conformance.

• Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with four-slide or multi-slide machine setup and operation.

• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and work orders, with a strong understanding of metal forming principles.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and familiarity with pneumatic and mechanical systems.

• Work Environment: Ability to meet the physical demands of a standard manufacturing environment.
